Just spotted, and listened to, this video of Pierre Sauvageot’s Harmonic Fields over at Trevor Cox’s Sound Blog (he researches acoustics at the University of Salford) on his post: Why do railings whistle in the wind? (there’s a great sound recording of railings doing just that, with overtones).
Thought I’d share Pierre’s video here as it’s rather lovely and a little bit spooky.
